I am an established New Zealand painter,
who has been exhibiting for 40 years.
I enjoy the process of painting and experimenting with all mediums and I’m inspired by our stunning NZ landscape.
My painting career started at 17 as a hobby and grew steadily through the years, exhibiting while always working full-time.
Living on Waiheke Island, I was inspired to do a lot of nautical based work.

I opened my first studio ‘Southseas Studio’ on Blackpool beachfront and continued to exhibit at the Waiheke Community Gallery and in Auckland at Outreach and The French Art Gallery.
In 2004, I moved north to become a full time artist, which has been a great success. Working from my Cowshed Studio, I taught after-school classes and exhibited regularly.
In 2015, my work was published in the Important World Artists’ book from USA and True Tales of Mountains & Memories, Northland and NZ Artist Magazine 2019.
I tutor ‘Stepping Stones’ a special needs class at the Quarry Arts Centre in Whangarei and I was featured on Attitude TV and ‘Unbreakable’ with a blind student.
Recently, I’ve returned to the coast and opened my new ‘Southseas Studio’ in Headland Farm Park, Tamaterau.
