Coming from a family where my mother
was a seamstress and my grandmother was known as ‘The Quilt lady of Tauranga it isn’t strange that I too would be a crafter.
From a young age I have had a go at most home crafts, including knitting, crocheting, tatting, embroidery and sewing.

Starting my first quilt as a ten year old, progressing to making my children’s clothes including stretch and grows and ball gowns, to quilting and fabric art.
My training in civil engineering helps with the enjoyment I have with experimenting with design and colour.
I hope you enjoy visiting my display at the Whangarei Heads Arts Trail in 2024.
