My grandmother lived in Pataua and McLeod Bay as well, so the Heads hold many fond memories for me.  We moved to Whananaki during my high school years, where I got my first camera.   All through our travels mum and dad always took photos of our roadies and I guess I drew my love of photography from seeing the beauty around me that they captured. 

I love our beautiful country and love to capture its beauty.  I am by no means an expert photographer, I’m more on the amateur side.  I just love the Awesome scenery that surrounds me so I take photos.  Friends and family always told me that they love my photos and should do something with my talent.  So, only in the last seven years have I decided to follow my passion of exploring our stunning land and capturing what I see through my eyes and sharing it with others.

Six years ago I moved back to Whangarei Heads with my husband.  He has encouraged and supported me to follow my passion.  He is our drone photographer, computer whiz and loves design.  So together we are creating PCK Photography & Design.  I’m a go-with-the-flow kind of person, so this venture we are on changes as ideas come to us.  Currently we get our photos printed as photo prints, framed photo prints, calendars, greeting cards, magnets, baby blankets, and canvas made to order.  We also do commission work for real estate, splashbacks and are open to other requests.  We also have some of our art in galleries like Reyburn House and The Bach in the Town Basin, Whangarei.

Currently I am one of the Whangarei Heads Arts Trail Society Inc. committee as the secretary and am enjoying being part of an amazing team.
